angela moorer is a multimedia storyteller and communications consultant based out of seattle, washington.

with a culturally-sensitive & trauma-informed approach, Angela creates compelling and mobilizing content that resonates with diverse audiences. Her work spans video production, writing, public relations, and documentary filmmaking–  supporting nonprofits and community organizations in addressing critical social issues.

angela co-created and hosted the web video series northwest explorer at Cascade PBS Creative Works, where she also worked as a producer. She is currently directing the King County Reparations Project, a documentary series that investigates housing displacement of African Americans in Seattle's Central District and South End.

With a Bachelor of arts in Communications and Political Science from the University of Washington and currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Visual Anthropology and Documentary Practices from the University of Münster, Angela brings a unique blend of academic insight and professional expertise to her work.

Angela serves on the boards of the Northwest Film Forum and Jazz Night School. she enjoys performing and writing music and is the vocalist of AVA X Jade, a jazz and neo-soul cover band part of the AVA X Project— a creative brand built for energetic alignment through music, media, fashion, and wellness.
