About
Angela Moorer is a digital media storyteller.
Using an empathetic and creative approach, she produces content with a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive lens.
Growing up in an unrelatable media landscape, Angela developed a desire to tell stories about people like herself: the under (and mis-)represented. As a producer and communications consultant, she does so in the form of multimedia content creation, public relations and digital marketing. With a focus on issues that disproportionately effect people of color, Angela has worked with national and community non-profit organizations that represent criminal justice reform, anti-sexual assault initiatives, cannabis legalization, and more.
Angela creates content with heart that makes a social impact— from video production to strategizing social media campaigns to creating comprehensive content marketing plans and practicing traditional public relations. Angela's clients have included organizations such as King County, The Children's Alliance, Yoga Behind Bars, Art with Heart and the Northwest African American Museum.
Angela has a BA in Communications and Political Science from the University of Washington and is working towards a Master of Arts in Visual Anthropology, Media and Documentary Practices from the University of Münster.
My dad always said, "Do what you love, and you'll never work a day in your life." That wisdom has shaped my path, guiding me toward a fulfilling career in nonprofit digital communications. I’m driven by a deep passion for storytelling—unearthing the truths of the human experience that spark compassion and inspire meaningful change. For me, doing what you love isn’t just advice; it’s a way to turn dreams into reality and create a life of purpose.
